Waste-2-Value results presented in Munich, Germany

Every second year, a major conference is held where researchers and industrial partners from all over the world meet to discuss how best to produce, use and further develop biodiesel.

This year, Danish Technological institute was represented by Consultant Sune D. Nygaard. This year’s conference, held in Munich, Germany, was attended by about 250 participants. The conference attracted people from all over the world. Iran, USA, Brazil, China, Malaysia and most of the EU countries were represented, underlining the fact that biodiesel is attracting a lot of attention across the globe.

At the meeting, Sune Nygaard presented a number of interesting results, explaining how different strains of bacteria can affect biodiesel quality and the storage facilities for storing different kinds of biodiesel blends. The results attracted a great deal of attention from the participating researchers and industrial partners because this subject is massively important for all players on the biodiesel market as large-scale implementation will take place under very varied physical conditions in different parts of the world.
